Friend profile
The running balance, open splits, shared transactions and shared groups.
Open the Friends tab in the bottom menu and tap the person you need. The profile gathers everything the two of you have in common.
What is here
- Who owes whom and the total amount
- Open splits — debts that have not been settled yet
- Your transactions — every record you both take part in
- Shared groups — the groups you are both in
When nothing is left between you, the app shows "Settled up".
How the total is worked out
Owerly does not pile debts up, it nets them off. If you paid for your friend and later they paid for you, both records stay, but only the difference shows in the balance — who owes what in the end.
Debts in different currencies are shown as separate lines: 300 PLN and 50 EUR do not collapse into one number on their own. You can merge them into a single currency when settling — see Settling up with a friend.
